Maxon releases the new GOTY: Cinebench 2024 with GPU benchmark.
Every dedicated overclocker must have, at some point in their life, run Cinebench at least once, the famous benchmark utilizing the Cinema 4D rendering engine. It’s widely used in the overclocking league (HWBOT) and by enthusiasts in forums or discussion groups. That said, did you know that Maxon has released a new version of the benchmark?
Cinebench 2024 utilizes the Redshift engine for rendering and has reintroduced the option to run on GPUs, along with options to select the test duration, which is useful for devices with limited cooling systems.
For the CPU benchmark, the minimum requirements include CPU support for AVX2 instructions and a minimum of 16GB of installed RAM on the machine. As for the GPU benchmark, it requires a GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM.
